Account and sync

Spotify

Each person connects their own Spotify account (Premium). The account must also be on the user list of the Spotify developer app (see README). When you're signed in, your Spotify login is saved in your account, so other computers don't need to connect again.

ElevenLabs

Narration is recorded with your own ElevenLabs account. Create an API key at elevenlabs.io → Developers → API keys with access to Text to Speech, Voices (read and write), Models and User (read). Setting a credit limit on the key is a good idea. The key is stored in this browser and, when you're signed in, in your workspace so the people you share with can record too.

Where the music plays

This browser — the conductor is the speaker. Connect the laptop to the sauna speaker. Songs blend with short fades. Spotify app or speaker — the conductor remote-controls a Spotify device, such as the Spotify app on this Mac. Turn on Crossfade songs in the Spotify app's settings for real DJ-style blends.
